I'm Jay and I'm a web analytics expert.
I have an extensive web and software development background, which means I understand code upside down and inside out and, at this point in my career; I've decided to use my powers for analytics! With over 7 years analytics experience (and far too many more as a developer), I fully believe that everyone should have access to all the data they need to make smart, informed decisions to help their business grow.
All the money you invest in any form of marketing comes down to an interaction between your brand and your consumer – if you want to really understand the value of that interaction, you need to not only have an accurate analytics platform, you also need to understand the data it's giving you. Once you know which of your marketing channels are working best for you (and which aren't), you then know where to invest more cash.
Throughout my career in web analytics I have specialised in the Google Analytics platform and its related products. I work with both the technical aspects - such as tagging design, implementation and troubleshooting - and non-technical aspects such as reporting, insights and user training. My background allows me an uncommon advantage to talk to individuals or audiences with any range of technical knowledge.
While I specialise in the Google ecosystem, I have also had plentiful experience with other analytics solutions - such as Adobe Analytics, WebTrends or CoreMetrics - as well as other tag management, CRO and insight tools.
